Using AiCarer
AiCarer can be used in two ways, depending on your needs and whether you have a supported wearable device. AiCarer Complete works with compatible Garmin watches, including the Enduro, epix, fēnix, Forerunner, Instinct, Lily, MARQ, tactix, Venu, vívoactive, vívomove, and vívosmart ranges, as well as Samsung watches running Wear OS 6 or later (Wear OS 6+). Not all smartwatches are compatible. These are standard consumer smartwatches available from many electronics retailers, so no specialist equipment is required. If you're unsure whether your watch is supported, please contact AiCarer Support before beginning setup.
AiCarer Complete
Uses both the AiCarer smartphone app and a supported wearable device to provide richer wellbeing insights, passive monitoring, and more personalised alerts.
Best for people who have a supported wearable device and want continuous wellbeing monitoring.
Ayla Only
Uses the AiCarer smartphone app without a supported wearable device. You still have access to voice check-ins, reminders, notifications, and wellbeing updates.
Best for users who prefer to use AiCarer using their smartphone only.
After setup
Whichever option you choose, once you have finished setting up you will have:
- A working AiCarer account.
- Access to your AiCarer dashboard.
- Notifications and wellbeing features so you stay informed day to day.
- Voice AI with Ayla, who can call and check in with a friendly conversation.
- Access to the Shared Care Network whenever you need it.
If you are using a supported wearable device, pair it first with the manufacturer's companion app — for example, Garmin Connect for compatible Garmin watches, or Galaxy Wearable for Samsung watches running Wear OS 6 or later (Wear OS 6+) — then connect it during AiCarer setup. Once your device is paired and worn regularly, AiCarer can begin building a clearer picture of your daily wellbeing.
